Kath joined Cameron Chase in April 2007 as a Client Services Manager, to utilise her knowledge and experience in an essential support role.
Kath has worked in the financial services industry since leaving school in 1980, starting her career in retail banking with Midland Bank (now HSBC). In 1983 she achieved part one of the BTEC National Certificate Banking examinations. Having left the banking sector in 1989, she joined a local building society as a cashier and mortgage adviser.
In 1997 she joined a local firm of Independent Financial Advisers, initially as an administrator providing valuable support to three advisers. Achieving a pass in the Financial Planning Certificate in 1999, she became authorised to give advice to clients in all aspects of financial planning.
In 2003 she decided upon a career change and moved into a role, specialising in recruitment for the financial services industry. She returned to financial services administration in 2005.
On a personal note, Kath is married with two sons and in her spare time enjoys going to the gym. In the summer months she enjoys weekends away, camping & walking (weather permitting) although this has to be balanced with pampering hotel breaks in the sun!
