Step 1 – Initial Meeting This meeting is for you to outline your aims, objectives and priorities so that we can both determine the value and benefit of the service we offer. It will identify your unique requirements and gain mutual commitment to move forward. It is always held at our expense. Step 2 – Information Gathering Our second meeting gives us the opportunity to gather more detailed information about you and document your aims, objectives and current circumstances. All of the details you provide are treated in the strictest of confidence and you do not have to disclose anything you prefer not to. Step 3 – Analysis, Research & Planning
This stage of the process allows significant value to be added. We will take the time to review your current position. This helps us to determine the suitability to you of your existing arrangements in relation to your needs and will also highlight any shortfalls or areas for improvement. It will allow us to establish specifically how we can meet your objectives in the most approrpaite and tax efficient manner. Now we understand your needs and priorities, attitude to risk and cost, we will research the entire marketplace, combining the use of the latest research technology and our many years of experience to create a financial plan that will be truly tailored to you as an individual. Step 4 – Recommendations This meeting is to present you with a comprehensive Financial Planning Report, explaining our strategies and recommendations in plain English. We believe in total transparency, which means not only do we explain the advantages, but we will also disclose all the facts and relevant risks. We will take the time to answer any questions you may have whilst avoiding the use of unnecessary and confusing financial terminology. Step 5 – Implementation When you are fully satisfied with your financial plan, we will help you carry out the actions required including any paperwork necessary to fully implement your plan. Step 6 – Annual Planning Meeting The core of Financial Planning is not just selling a product, or giving the initial advice, it is about working with you over a lifetime to continually ensure that your affairs are in order based on the financial and legislative conditions at the time. Your annual planning meeting is an integral part of the retainer programme and enables both of us to overcome the ‘perishability’ of our advice. |
